Good Friday Breakfast - Pastors' Meeting

Dear Pastors & Leaders,

Open Arms International is a Portland based charity whose mission is to provide relief from physical, emotional and spiritual suffering through medical expertise and Christian ministry in developing countries. Although the majority of their work is in Africa, they are deeply committed to the local community that supports their overseas efforts.

In this spirit and with the assistance of an active volunteer committee, Open Arms International is presenting the third annual Good Friday Breakfast on Friday, April 10th. This is an evangelistic, spiritually and emotionally uplifting event on one of Christianity’s holiest days – Good Friday. It is not only greatly needed, but is also greatly welcomed by the community-at-large. With a growing attendance each year, we expect over a thousand people.

Please join us for a Pastors' Breakfast Meeting on Thursday, March 5th to discuss how you might help us reach as many folks in the tri-county area as possible. Our intent at this meeting is to share the details of the event and ask for your assistance in encouraging other Pastors and church leaders to promote the breakfast.

We have a unique opportunity to reach out to spiritually hungry people with the good news of Jesus Christ at the Good Friday Breakfast and will use this occasion to invite civic leaders, business professionals and people in the community to enjoy an inspiring presentation. It will be a time where we will openly acknowledge and appreciate the significance of what Good Friday represents. This year's event speaker is Joe White & he is a dynamic communicator, who was a featured speaker for many Promise Keepers events.

This event is not a fundraiser! It is an event that is designed for Christians to gather on this important day and more importantly, an opportunity for the Christian community to reach out to those in need of hearing the good news of Jesus. Thank you in advance for your collaboration!
